Stuart had an amazing night at Stoke. Stuart started off the night with a win in the first heat. He continued his form going into the final where again he managed, even after a very late yellow flag bunching the grid back together, to come 1st. In the grand national Stuart started off from the lap handicap after winning the final. After a hard fort battle with the top 5 he finished in 3rd place. Again a big thank you to all the sponsors, without them Team Smith Motorsport would not be in the position it is today. Check out […]
Stuart started the meeting in strong form finishing 3rd in the first heat. After a few changes to the car he went out for Heat 3 and finished 1st. Moving onto the final, Stuart was looking very good for the win and felt confident he could do it until, with 2 laps to go he had a misfire! Finishing 2nd! Stuart then finished off the night with a win in the grand national. Again a big thank you to all the sponsors, without them Team Smith Motorsport would not be in the position it is today. Stuart had an amazing meeting at Birmingham starting off with a win in his first heat! Holding off the likes of Lee Fairhurst and Danny Wainman to take the win. Final time, with a few changes made, Stuart again was lightning fast coming through the star graders and working his way up into the lead. Eventually winning the race. The team was especially made up with this as winning any race is good but winning a “final” is even better. Grand National time Stuart had a big task ahead as he started from the front of the grid a lap […]
Not a bad first meeting back, Stuart won heat 1, didn’t go out in next one as a problem with the battery. looking good for the win in the final but got a flat and that cost him the win! Although still a decent result I know Stuart and know he wants the win not “nearly” and a third place finish in the national. Wether was awful but that didn’t stop little Stu having fun in the puddles! Stuarts next meeting will be the Birmingham/ Hednesford weekender. Thanks for the support, see you next time Meting Results: Heat 1 – […]
Stock Cars return to Odsal stadium. Over 15 cars returned for a pre match parade around the historic tarmac track before the rugby game between the Bradford Bulls and the Batley Bulldogs. The stadium holds many memories for the smith team as both Stuarts brother and his legendry father “The maestro” won world finals here. Will Stuart have the chance to join his brother and his father and win a world final at Odsal Stadium?
